Orthopedic Surgeon Tamara Huff is an engaging surgeon in Waycross, GA. She is an ardent supporter of creating ways to engaging patients in their health care.
Why are you committed to the Movement is life Caucus? I believe I can contribute and help the Hispanic and Latino Community to get health care and improve their lives.
Why are fighting disparities important? We must continue this “fight” if we are to be successful.
What is one way to fight unconscious bias? We need to make others “aware” of their bias.
Since the caucus is about movement, can you tell us one thing you do in your health and wellness journey? I exercise so that I can continue to keep my excess weight off.
What is one health and wellness resource you value? There are no set resources for me, I firmly believe in good nutrition and exercise.
